It started as a one-time base production, as there was a mix of recycled yak & cashmere laying around at the mill. It was a very dark gray/maroon mix of fibers and it wouldn’t have been very interesting to dye over. So it was decided to mix it with the most premium quality of Merino that we could find, of 18 microns... and Samskara was born! Thankfully we found a way to duplicate the results and join the Treliz family for good.
