Murky Depths' take on Knitty City's 20th Anniversary Tarot: Judgement series. 

The Good Seed comes from the fruit of a lifetime of labor. It’s a new beginning, but at the same time, an extension of life. A chance for a new story to take root.

When Knitty City invited me to created a special color for the store’s 20th anniversary based on the Judgement tarot card I really thought of just how nuanced and multi dimensional a word that is. In the context of tarot (I had to do some research) it implies awakening or renewal. I knew I needed to create something complex, layered and joyful.

And wow! twenty years of being a mainstay of the NYC fiber arts community is no small achievement. That Zac has brought constant evolution and renewal to the house that Pearl built is something I judge a job well done!

Deep Sock is a soft, springy two-ply yarn with great stitch definition. Next-to-skin softness makes it perfect for garments and the added nylon makes it suitable for socks and other hard wearing items.

• 80% Superwash Merino Wool / 20% Nylon
• Approximately 400 yards per 100 gram skein.
• This yarn is hand dyed in small batches.
• Hand wash cold water, dry flat is recommended, but can be machine washed in cold water on delicate cycle and machine dried on low heat, delicate setting.
