After you're comfortable with the knit stitch, you're ready to learn the purl stitch. By combining knit and purl stitches you will be able to create different fabrics and many textures. In class you will learn how to differentiate between the knit and purl stitch, and how to alternate between them in the same row. We will review Garter Stitch, Stockinette Stitch, and Ribbing. After completing this class, you will be ready to take your knitting to the next level.
Prerequisite:Must be able to work the knit stitch comfortably.
Yarn and crochet hooks can be purchased during class (~$10-15) and you are welcome to bring supplies if you already have your own. Space is limited. If you can't attend for any reason, please let us know as soon as possible. Cancellations within 24 hours of class time will not be refunded or credited.
