Pony's Aluminium Tunisian or afghan crochet hooks have a hook like regular crochet hooks, but are longer and have a knob on the end, similar to knitting needles, to prevent stitches sliding off. The primary difference between crochet and Tunisian crochet is that the work is never turned. The first half of a row is worked from right to left, and the second half is worked from left to right, like knitting.
Made from high quality aluminum, these hooks are produced using specialised anodizing techniques which provide the supremely even grey or colour coating. Bigger sizes are made from ABS plastic.
