There are 10 shops participating in the crawl this year. If you want to hit them all (and you do want to hit them all), you're going to need a plan. Fortunately, you have a few days to make this work and we've got your back.

** Help us keep up the crawl energy while you're riding to your next stop! Knit1Car2! **
Pop-up shops at Knitty City are an opportunity for entrepreneurial individuals to have a space to show and sell their products.
We will feature a different small business in front of Knitty City on Saturdays. Please stop by, check out what they have to offer, and ask them about what they do.
20% of all pop-up sales are donated to non-profit organizations. This season, we will be giving 20% to Heifer International.

Hu Made yarns are handdyed right here in the Upper West Side. Amanda uses a variety of dying techniques to capture traditional art and turn it into yarn.
Friday, September 26
12-6pm
Hanging on by a String is a vegan focused hand dyer. Ashley dyes some animal based fibers, but her passion is with tencel, bamboo, cotton, and eucalyptus.
Saturday, September 27
12-6pm
Yarn Over New York is beloved by all New York knitters and crocheters. Jessie's vibrant colors will surely brighten up your day.
Sunday, September 28
12-6pm
Five Borough Yarns is here with her bold and powerful colors. Lindsay hails from all five boroughs of New York City and brings us colorways inspired by pop culture icons.

Wednesdays, 6-8pm at Knitty City after hours
Bring one of your many Works in Progress and hangout and meet fellow crafters in the store after hours. There's no teaching after dark, but we'll keep the register open if you need to pick up any supplies.
Every Thursday EXCEPT the first Thursday of each month (Book Club Thursdays)
Meets in store, 6-8pm
We're bringing back in-store events, starting with a soft-opening of our weekly Men's Night on Thursdays. Bring your knitting, crochet, or spinning and join us for a casual after hours hangout at Knitty City. No reservations necessary.
Fridays, 5-6pm in front of Knitty City
Do you have a pile of clothes you've been meaning to fix? Why not sew on that button or patch that hole in the company of other makers and menders? Come to Mending Circle, where we will gather, share ideas about repair, extend the lives of our garments, and hopefully make a dent in that pile!
Mending Circle is intended as an informal time and space to connect over our projects. It is not an instructional class or a repair service. Please bring your own materials. There is no charge to participate, but any donations will go to Fashion Revolution, an nonprofit organization fighting for "a global fashion industry that conserves and restores the environment and values people over growth and profit."
Book Club meetings are held at Knitty City on the first Thursday of each month.
The Knitty City Book Club is unable to accept new members at this time.

But seeing it performed is unlikely, in a theater world where the playing field isn’t level for women. As Melina wonders if she dares risk failure again, her best friend takes the decision out of her hands and submits the play to a festival under a male pseudonym.

In 1972, when workers in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, were digging the foundations for a new development, the last thing they expected to find was a skeleton at the bottom of a well. Who the skeleton was and how it got there were two of the long-held secrets kept by the residents of Chicken Hill.
